The Rene Van
Our first Citroen H Van was imported from Europe in June 2014. Rene started life as a humble carpenter’s delivery van in Provence, Southern France. A tough working life was followed by years of neglect – or retirement if you want to look at it in another way! Rene sat outside in a field in a small Southern French village providing a home to French wildlife. While this may sound slightly romantic, it took its toll on the little van.
To get the van back on the road required a complete restoration painstakingly and lovingly carried out before being transformed into a Coffee & Ice Cream van. It’s been a labour of love and the Citroen is now back to as good as new (maybe even better than when it left the Paris factory!)
